Our Island(s). Vashon-Maury Island is approximately 13 miles long and 8
miles at the widest point on Maury Island, and only a 20-minute express
bus ride or drive to SeaTac Airport from the Fauntleroy ferry dock. A
great deal of the island is kept to 5 and 10 acre parcels which help us
maintain our rural feel. Even MiKo’s Guest House, located on only a 1/3
of an acre, and fenced around 3 sides, borders 7 acres of pasture capturing
nature's sounds.

Washington State Ferries (WSF) has become the largest ferry system in the
United States and the third largest in the world, carrying over 24 million
passengers each year. The car ferry is approximately a 20-minute crossing
from Vashon Heights (northern tip of the island) to Fauntleroy, West
